i currently have two blogs! hahah! i know its pretty lame but yeah. i just told quite alot of ppl to relink to this new blog link and after that, i decided to create a blogger. zz! anws i think both these blogging platforms have their advantages and disadvatages!
firstly, i will list down the good and bad points of wordpress and then i will list the same for blogger! =)
wordpress
user friendly dashboard with links to every part of the platform on one page
easy to navigate as the links are placed quite simply
keeps track of who views you and from where do they find your blog
have the codes written nicely for you alr (do not have to fix the html yourself)
it has limited number of skin designs
forces you to have a title for every post (which can get quite irritating when you run out of ideas)
for people to chat, only can leave comments at posts
blogger
there are alot of blog skins that can be used!
allows you to insert a tagboard to have easier chat with friends
widely known for the blogging platform (might be due to its main website's url)
unable to keep track of who views you and where from do they find your blog
have to insert your own codes to the html which can get quite confusing (esp if you are a computer/blogging dumb person like me!)
well these are the main things that is making me indecisive on which blog to use! so now i am keeping both blogs so that i can experiment and find out which blogging platform would be more suitable for me! i prefer blogger for its wide skin variety but i like wordpress because you can check how do people find out about your blog! as for now, the link to my other blog is http://nicnicnic.wordpress.com/
ps. well as i mentioned, i am a computer/blogging idiot. so i do not know alot of stuffs about these two blogging websites therefore some of my opinions on it might be wrong. =) if you think there is a need i know something i dont about what i have reviewed on, do leave me a comment to inform me! =D thank you!
